Dhodak is a type of thalipeeth. It is made from the white portion of watermelon. This is Konkan special recipe. You can try this recipe at home during this summer. Drop a comment for me and do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cup grated white portion of Watermelon
• 1 cup fine Suji
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Green chili-Ginger paste (4~5 Green chilies & Ginger)
• 1/2 shredded fresh Coconut
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Oil

Method:
• Take the grated watermelon.
• You can use grated tavasa too in place of watermelon.
• Add fine suji, cumin seeds, green chili-ginger paste, fresh
shredded coconut, salt and mix everything well together.
• No need to add water. Moisture in watermelon is enough.
• Cover and rest for about 30 minutes.
• Brush a little oil in the pan.
• Take a small ball of dough and make it smooth and even.
• Transfer it on the pan and pat it to roll into thalipeeth.
• Turn on the gas on medium heat.
• Cover and cook until lower side gets nice kharpus color or for
about 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
• Remove the lid and spread a little oil.
• Flip it over and cook for about 4-5 minutes from other side as
well.
• When it roasted well from both sides take it off the pan into a
dish.
• Dhodak is all ready.
