Rava uttapa is a very easy and simple recipe. If you don’t have much time and want to make something different and quickly then this is the best option.You can make this uttapa from the ingredients available in your pantry. You can try this recipe a home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
1 cup Fine rava
1/2 tsp Baking soda
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Curd / Yogurt
Kanda lasun masala
Finely chopped Green chili
Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Finely chopped Onion
Take rava into a bowl.
Add baking soda, salt and mix well.
Add curd and mix well.
Add water to make medium consistency batter.
The consistency of batter should be a little thick than dosa
Cover and rest the batter for about 15-20 minutes.
Heat up a pan.
Add oil and spread it.
Wipe the oil a little with tissue so that the base of uttapa turns
out nice and even.
Add the batter at the center of the pan and spread it.
After roasting the uttapa for a few minutes sprinkle kanda lasun
masala, green chili, coriander leaves and onion.
Press onion a little so that it will stick well to uttapa.
Add a little oil on uttapa and along its edges.
After roasting the uttapa for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip
Roast well from other side too.
When uttapa is roasted well from both sides take it off the pan.
You can have this uttapa as it is.
You can serve uttapa with sambar and chutney.
